Undead Pool by Kim Harrison (audio version)

This is a book in the Rachel Morgan or The Hollows series. It needs to be read in order. The first book is Dead Witch Walking.
      I thought since the library had this on audio and I hadn't read it and I follow the series, I'd listen to the audio book. This is the second one, I have heard. I still prefer reading the book, but listening to one once in a while is a nice change of pace, and an easy way to catch up on books I want to read.
     The only issue I have with this audio book is I thought since the book is told by Rachel Morgan's perspective that it would be just the narrator. Nope, she did character voices. That threw me off for a moment but I eventually let go and got to enjoy the book.
     This is the second to last in the series, and it has some major revelations and character growth and changes. This story is the typical action pack, character rich tales in the world of the Hollows.
