Crimson Veil by Yasmine Galernorn

This is a book in a series and on that needs to be read in order. The series is under Sisters of the Moon, and starts with Witchling.

This book is told from the perspective of  Menolly.

This is another roller coaster ride in the series. The story eventually links back with some of the hangovers from the previous book. The missing Fae are found, one villian goes down while another threat rises. A hint at another mystery to be solved. Menolly makes some changes in her life, and as always, the sisters continue to balance the chaos they call life.
Another excellent installment in the series.

Undead Pool by Kim Harrison (audio version)

This is a book in the Rachel Morgan or The Hollows series. It needs to be read in order. The first book is Dead Witch Walking.
I thought since the library had this on audio and I hadn't read it and I follow the series, I'd listen to the audio book. This is the second one, I have heard. I still prefer reading the book, but listening to one once in a while is a nice change of pace, and an easy way to catch up on books I want to read.
The only issue I have with this audio book is I thought since the book is told by Rachel Morgan's perspective that it would be just the narrator. Nope, she did character voices. That threw me off for a moment but I eventually let go and got to enjoy the book.
This is the second to last in the series, and it has some major revelations and character growth and changes. This story is the typical action pack, character rich tales in the world of the Hollows.

Interstellar

This film was pretty good. The story line was well balanced between on and off planet action. What disappointed me was the opportunity to create worlds with interesting features, something less ordinary.
But the film is worth watching on the big screen. I doubt it would have the same impact on the small screen. In my opinion the critics have gone a bit too gaga for this film, though it worth watching.
