City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

This is the last book of The Mortal Instruments series. If you haven't read this series, I suggest starting with the Infernal Devices trilogy which is a prequel to this series because certain references will make more sense if you do.
The first book in The Infernal Devices is Clockwork Angel and City of Bones is the first of The Mortal Instruments.
This book was pretty good, a typical tale in this series, with a few twists and turns that weren't expected.
The epilogue was way too long, and a bit dull. Plus, to be honest, I wouldn't mind a story that wasn't a little too conveniently tied up with a bow at the end. After all, not all fairy tales ended in happily ever after.
But the story was good and does connect into the next trilogy.

Dracula : Untold

I really like the idea of mashing actual history, with the fictional, famous Bram stoker vampire.
Would have liked it in 3-D. The story was well done. Flows well, and seems to be more believable, than Bram's version of Vlad becoming Dracula. This Vlad is much more human, you understand the choices he made, why he made them. You sympathize with me. I really liked the balanced of man and monster.
Even like the tie in, at the end to Bram Stoker's version. Worth seeing. A good real vampire film, nothing mushy or soft about the vampires in this film.
Oh, and Stoker's Dracula is a good read.

Atlas Shrugged (film) Part III : Who is John Gault?

This is the last part of the three films.

I watched the two previous installments based on the book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rynd. Even though this a lower budget film, and the actors keep changing for the most in each part of this film. I have never read the book, which is huge, by the way and was originally released in three separate parts. The audio book is fifty discs in total, if you were wondering.
Anyway, the actor changes aren't a really big deal, they do a good job of refreshing you of who is who. This is one of those works that gets one thinking about how things are, and where things could end up in the future.
For a low budget film that raised the money to make, each part is well done and flows well. Really, overall not a bad film and from what I can tell, adapted decently for the big screen. Really is worth checking out. Of course, the first two parts should be seen before the concluding on.
