This is the third and final book in The Infernal Devices Trilogy. The first book is Clockwork Angel. This is the same author of The Mortal Instruments Series: Which starts with City of Bones, in case you didn't know or what to delve into the world of The Shadow Hunters again.
If you haven;t and want to read City of Bones, I suggest reading this trilogy first because there are connections and comments on occasion that make more sense if you do. Just a friendly suggestion.
It was Clockwork angel that made me interested in trying City of Bones. I have for the most part liked The Mortal Instruments series, but this trilogy is better in my opinion.
Clockwork Princess takes place two months after Clockwork Prince. It starts with the planning of the wedding, and from there the story soon becomes a roller coaster ride. A row of dominoes one event starting another till the end. All is soon revealed.
I did have a few issues in this story. You build up a bad guy in two other books, and then in like a paragraph, though a slightly ironic death, its over.
To be honest, I would have rather not have had the epilogue addition. To me it just didn't feel right. I can't say anymore without spoiling it.
The last thing was, once you got past the climax, the book felt slightly too long. Things could have been moved forward more quickly and summed up efficiently with out losing anything to the story.
Otherwise, this was good end to a great story. Worth the read.
