I know this film has gotten criticized for certain physic issues. Let go of the tibits of this film, and the story isn't bad, a few issues with it in general, that don't make sense, but a good tale.
This film needs to be seen on the big screen and 3-D helps pull into space. But what makes this film worth seeing is the cinematography of space. The views of Earth, from space is amazingly beautiful. I 'll be honest, I wasn't interested in seeing this film. I thought, oh, great, death in space. Thankfully, it wasn't all death in space. But those scenes of Earth made it worth while, to see this film.
